Current Research

I am currently working on projects examining the effects of Botulinum toxin on function and mobility in patients with spasticity.

My post-doctoral work in the past was with Dr. Brenda Brouwer, Dr. Carolynn Patten, Dr. Andrea Behrman and Dr. Floyd Thompson. In Dr. Thompson's lab, I worked with contusion spinal cord injury model in rats.

My doctoral research revolved around understanding how various sensory inputs affect reflexes in the task of walking in people with spinal cord injury. My broader field of interest is walking rehabilitation and studying ways to enhance walking and overall motor function after neurological injuries.

I am hoping to acquire more skills on this road of scientific inquiry.
